Linda Steele: Many years ago I took up photography as a quicker way to “paint.” My goal as a photographer is to document the world that others don’t see AND create beautiful art from digital images. I love shooting landscapes, nature and architectural details then learning new creative techniques for tweaking them.

John Kapusta: I came back to photography after many years focusing on my business career. Now I want to unlock my creative side. Started with film eons ago, now, Digital photography gives me a new medium. . My focus for now is to transition from the “snapshot” to the photograph as a work of artlI like to focus on landscapes, travel, urban and nature trying to incorporate that “less is more” in my composition. Formerly from New York and New England I presently reside in Cape Coral, FL which has given me a new “blank canvas” to work with!

Jim Wolff: My passion for taking pictures began when I took my first photography class in high school. Since then, I have photographed many different subjects, scenes, and moments all over the world, but it doesn’t stop there. My love for the art includes taking photos of people, animals and more. My pictures tell my story.

JAMES SMITH: I have been involved in photography since age 14, I was enthralled with creating scenes using my model cars & airplanes.
After converting a basement broom closet into a darkroom I taught myself film developing and darkroom techniques. I own a pentax DSLR, & an Olympus Tough 80 waterproof. I enjoy Landscape, Sunrise/Sunsets, wildlife, and macro/closeup photography.

Richard Evans:My photography dates back to the late 60s when I joined my high school camera club. In the 70s I was a wedding photographer, decades that followed doing fashion/glamour photography, and more recently adding the nature/landscape genre. Photography is my passion, constantly in search for that perfect image…

Chris Stratton: I enjoy portraiture – of people and pretty buildings/homes, and love learning new techniques. Here are some of my photographs:

Terry Carver: Taking pictures since 1964 starting with a Polaroid, I’ve been “addicted” to capturing memories to share. Careers in Manufacturing & Technology included HR, sales, marketing, IT, the Internet, and retirement that allowed me to learn every day, travel extensively, and enjoy opportunities to take pictures…. and now videos! Post-processing is a major challenge using too many different apps. Now, I’m really enjoying the company of and learning from members of SWFL Shutterbugs! https://www.carvers-photos.com/ Https://terrycarver.com
